Certified Level III Thermal Inspections
Anyone can buy a thermal drone. Interpreting the results takes expertise. Our Level III thermography certification represents an advanced level of training and expertise that sets us apart. We go beyond simply capturing thermal images. We understand the science behind it, allowing us to properly analyze thermal patterns and provide meaningful results that can depend on.
Non-Destructive Testing
Thermal imaging reveals anomalies the human eye can’t see. By detecting subtle differences in surface temperature, thermal imaging can help identify areas of potential moisture infiltration, heat loss, insulation deficiencies, electrical concerns, and other conditions that may require further investigation. When combined with drone technology, it allows large, complex, and hard-to-access areas to be inspected safely and efficiently, providing valuable information that traditional visual inspections alone may miss.
Electrical Inspection
Every year, several large companies rely on Exceptional Infrared Inspection Services to help identify electrical issues before they lead to equipment failure or fire, while supporting preventive maintenance and insurance requirements.
Protect your facility and stay ahead of potential electrical problems with professional infrared inspections. Our Level III thermography expertise helps identify thermal anomalies before they lead to costly failures, supporting preventive maintenance, insurance requirements, improved safety, and reduced downtime.
Plumbing Inspection
A well-known plumbing company discovered that a defective crimping tool had been used during installation in a large multi-suite residential building, resulting in leaks. Exceptional was called in to conduct thermal imaging throughout the affected suites to help identify and pinpoint areas of suspected water intrusion.
We were able to precisely locate each area of suspected leakage through two layers of drywall, despite there being no visible signs of moisture or water damage on the wall surfaces.
The connections were repaired with minimal disruption and intrusion into the tenants’ suites, avoiding unnecessary exploratory demolition and saving the client thousands of dollars and countless hours of labour and restoration.
